Dr Steve Carroll

Clinical Psychologist

Steve is a Clinical Psychologist and has previously worked for Barwon Health and Melbourne Health as a senior clinician and has worked in private practice for the past seven years. Steve has extensive experience working with clients with depression, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, substance use disorders, worries/generalised anxiety, and panic disorder. He also works with young people from 15 years old through to older adults. His areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders via cognitive-behavioural, schema and mindfulness-based approaches. Steve is a member of The Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College and fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Catherine Bull

Clinical Psychologist

Catherine is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked for Barwon Health, Headspace and in private practice for several years. Catherine is trained in assessment, diagnosis and treatment intervention for individuals with a range of difficulties with mental health and well-being. Her areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, working with young people, grief and loss, eating disorders, trans* and gender diverse individuals and relational issues via cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness, cognitive analytic and interpersonal psychotherapy approaches. Catherine is a member of The Australian Psychological Society Clinical College and fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Debra Ridley

Clinical Social Worker

Debra is a clinical social worker who has worked with Barwon health and in private practise for the past 17 years. She works with families, couples, and individuals across the life span. Debra can assist with concerns around parenting, couples, family, relationship and interpersonal issues. Other areas such as managing chronic health illnesses, carer stress, trauma/ABI and mental health issues including anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties can also be addressed with Debra.

Debra works from a strength based approach, drawing and building upon a client’s own expertise and personal resources. She utilises a broad variety of theories including cognitive-behavioural, systems, psychodynamic, interpersonal and family therapy approaches.

Debra is an accredited mental health social worker, (AMHSW) a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and the Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT) and has completed specialist training in couple work with Relationships Australia
